Paducah chose cedar fence slats at Lowe’s.
She bought two different sizes–4″ and 5.5″ wide.
While at Lowe’s, she picked out the stain which was the “Island Water” color of the water based Minwax stain.
At the beginning she applied a white primer to the wood and let it dry. After while it was dry she applied the blue stain with a sponge brush. A short time later (a few minutes, because she was impatient), Paducah wiped it off with an old cloth. Lastly, she sanded it with 180 grit sand paper.
