How to Make a Rustic Bookshelf from Fence Boards

Don’t throw away the pieces of your old fence

Chanda from Atascadero, CA showed us how she made an awesome rustic bookshelf using pieces of old wooden fence.

She started this project when the spring cleaning was in full height. It was time for a refreshment and change in just about every room in her house.

An effort to create more organizing potential in her home, she decided to tackle build a new bookshelf.

Chanda shared with us that repurposing, recycling, and a little bit of problem solving usually can get you a long way in reworking the space.

She discovered some old fence boards a while back and started to work.
