I’m back today with the ‘afters’ of Maya’s closet.

We tried to keep this one on budget, and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. It is pretty but also packs in function. And the best part? We still have some room to grow into it. She definitely has the nicest closet in the house – lucky little lady! After finishing the wallpaper, it was time to create an organized closet!

In order to figure out what made the most sense for how to lay out the closet, we wrote out a list of what we would be wanting to store in there. In her dresser, Maya has her tee-shirts, long sleeve shirts, pants/leggings, and PJs.

to bring you this project! Their line of paints are seriously to die for! Easy to use, and their bright crisp colors will leave your projects looking ahhhmazing!

Make a pretty holder for your earrings, necklaces,

and bracelets. All you need is a frame, decorative knobs, and sheet metal!

Here are the materials you will need:
Wooden Frame (painted or not)
1 sheet of 1’X2′ aluminum sheeting (any design)
Tin snips

Looking around my work shop,

I was inspired to make this sunburst mirror!
Never having made one before, I had to wing it, but I was happy with the outcome.

First, I gather wood bits and a mirror. Make sure your wood is sanded if needed before you begin. I waited until it was put together, and if I ever make another one, I will sand them first! I used wood glue and screws to hold the pieces together. For the smaller/thinner pieces, I used wood glue and brads.

way decorate for any occasion.

This project is pretty easy, but you do need a few power tools to make it. It consists of a 4×4 cedar fence post, a fence post cap, finial, 2×12 pine board, deck post wood trim, and some corner trim for the base.

Fortunately, we were able to use scraps we had from other projects.
