While some people just need a “Message Center” in their homes,
*I* need a REMINDER CENTER! Put out the recycling…empty the dishwasher…buy stamps…Mom’s birthday tomorrow…you get the idea! So I created one by repurposing a vintage washboard and some old, deconstructed mouse traps as “clip boards”. Love that farmhouse style!
I saved this table from the landfill
and I am so glad I did! It’s GORGEOUS now! And so easy to do!
First I sanded it down to bare wood with my orbital sander.
Couldn’t stand looking at the litter box
while doing laundry, plus wanted to contain the litter and smells. So, built this cabinet and hacked it to create a special litter box cabinet for our cats.
Sock snowmen are fun and easy to make for decorating
during the winter season. These three little guys are actually made from a knee high and a few foam balls! And adding their fun winter clothes and accessories is the best bit.

My husband is a filmmaker and his movie collection certainly is quite vast as a result of his love for film. We have had a wall full of movies for years and have always talked about tucking it behind some curtains for a less cluttered look, and we finally made it happen! This is an easy and fun way to conceal a projecting shelving unit that is covered in madness. With a long pair of curtains and some copper piping and hardware, you can cover just about any cluttered spot in the house!
