Hence, the power of a DIY creation – it has all the best colors, features, textures and it cannot be repeated, even when it’s produced in the exact same way for a second time.
We share little shots of gratitude, awe, and inspiration in this category! There is so much you can do that is cheap, effective and adventurous. Most of the ideas we share are easily achievable on a budget, make us of things you already have lying around in cabinets and drawers. Grab your brushes, scissors, the old buttons from that winter coat and a cup of coffee – we have a lot to share!

I didn’t think my pantry was that bad before.
I personally could usually find things. But that doesn’t mean anyone else could! I decided to spend some time organizing my pantry and cleaning it all out. And this has changed my life! I love opening my pantry door, and if something starts getting out of place, I can’t handle it–I have to have it right back into its place.
I am currently doing a room makeover for my daughters
and i wanted some picture canvases for behind their beds. After looking everywhere i couldn’t find the size that i wanted for less than $90 so i decided i was going to make them myself.
I found my canvases at ROSS for $7.99 they came in a package of 2.
I printed my pictures at Walmart in matte photo paper: my picture size was 20×30 and they were around $18 each.

Have on old chair you don’t want anymore?
Before tossing it out you might want to consider repurposing it into a shelf! A ladder back chair makes for a perfect towel holder, while the seat works as a great storage space! This chair turned shelf works great in a bathroom or kitchen and can be made with a few quick steps! By simply cutting the chair a bit and adding some hanging hooks, you can create a fun and unique shelf!
