Firstly, paint your record
in the desired colors and patterns. Heat your oven to the lower setting (around 200 F) and take the metal bowl facing down.
Place the record on top it with the colored side up – you need to soften the edges and to melt it a bit.
Depending on your oven, it should take about 2-5 minutes, the record is ready when the sides have flopped down .
Note: you can also do it using boiling water, but it will take slightly more time and patience. You can reverse these steps as well, but it will be more difficult to paint when it’s already molded.
