We use every inch of every space in our kitchen.

It’s a large kitchen, and we use it all. My mother recently pointed out that we had some wasted space at the end of a cabinet, and she suggested we build a book shelf there for my cookbooks. I took her idea and ran with it and came up with a great IKEA hack that adds kitchen storage that we love.

Easy Decor Ideas – Decorate An Outdoor Lantern For Spring

I purchased on sale a large black outdoor lantern

last fall for my front porch. It has a battery-operated candle that can be automatically set to turn on and off every evening. I loved that it added more light to the front porch for decor and security reasons. But I was not thrilled that it was pretty plain and basic looking.

we are running out of sleeping room up at the lake. Last spring we bought this old canned ham and made her into our Bunkhouse, her name is Betty Lou! The cost on this project does not include the cost of the camper which was $800.00.

Rustic Industrial from 80’s Oak Bookcase Makeover

It isn’t often that I come across a good trash-to-treasure

furniture piece, but this one is a real keeper. The Hubs actually nabbed it from the trash bin during their last office remodel. It’s an old-fashioned 1980’s oak bookcase that hung on the wall.
