Covering the table top
The owner lightly sanded the edges and top of my new table top.
For covering the table top the owner used the white chalk paint for the base of the table and the light blue chalk paint for the tabletop.
Next the owner painted the wood table tops using an Antiquing Dark Satin Acrylic Wax.
It was bought from Lowes.
The owner applied the antiquing wax with a brush and then removed most of it with a damp cloth.
Once the top was dry the owner used a light coat of the same acrylic satin varnish.
It was used for the base and used a spray varnish.
