would be perfect for a new DIY wall sconce!
Materials (for two sconces):
2 thrifted lamps
2 Ikea canister
2 – 4″ x 4″ x 3/4″ thick piece of oak (this is what we had – other types of wood can be used)
4 – black steel flanges
2 – 1.5″ black steel pipes
2 – 2.5″ black steel pipes
2 – black steel elbows
(All steel is 3/4″ diameter)
Matte black spray paint
Varnish
Clear matte sealer
Screws
Lamp Light switch (optional)
8′ of 3/8″ diameter tubing (optional)
2 – plug ends for cords
Epoxy
Tools:
Drill
Saw
Step bit for the drill
Drill bits
Dremel
Router
Speed Square (measuring)
Metal saw or grinder to cut tubing (optional)
