Continue with a wide mesh ribbon
that will act as your main base. Start wrapping it around the wire while making sure it’s not too tight and there is no wire showing.
Using the tinsel arms as guidance, gather the ribbon side to side and twist the arms tightly to form a wrapped candy-like form.
Skip each other arm going down the garland and them, moving back up, twist the arms you have skipped – this way you have more ribbon to work with to create the poof.
Keep twisting and arranging the ribbon and wire and once you’ve reached the end of the garland, cut the remainder off. It’s important to twist as tightly as possible to make sure you have enough tinsel left for the next layer of mesh.
