My original idea was to put these Repurposing
drawers up as shelves in a bare spot outside the bathroom. And so I started my project….
I cleaned the drawers and gave them a light sand as the one drawer had lacquer on it.

If you want to add a little bit of fun to your kitchen
this is a great and easy way to add a splash of character. Contact paper used to just be some ugly stuff you would use to line your drawers with, but it has come a LONG way. These days people are making things look like swanky marble with some simple contact paper. Adding contact paper to a small appliance is a cheap and temporary way to give your kitchen a little upgrade. I mean who wouldn’t want a marble microwave? We want to help you DIY, so some of the materials in this post are linked to sellers. Just so you know, Hometalk may collect a small share of sales from the links on this page.

Hey there, Hometalk Friends!
I’ve got a sweet makeover for you today. I was challenged a little while back to repurpose a scarf. I rolled up my sleeves and went digging around my garage to see what I could come up with to create something new out of this estate sale scarf I scored for one whole dollar:
I have always loved the way that luminaries cast
beautiful images on the wall. In honor of the up and coming 4th of July, I thought it might be fun to create a stars and stripes luminary! I picked up some glasses from the Dollar Store and some star stickers and tape, and went to town on a design. After adding some frosted spray paint and candles these beauties really came to life!
