How to Make No-Sew Hula Hoop Canopy With Pom Poms

I’ve always had a thing for tents,

tee pees, forts and hideaways. And there is something so magical about a beautiful canopy that drapes over a bed. This version is extremely easy to make using a hula hoop and some sheer curtain panels. I added playful pom pom trim to mine for a special touch. Give it a try and have sweet dreams under your beautiful canopy!

Create Beautiful Garden Gazing Stones from Dollar Store

Create beautiful garden gazing stones

from dollar store finds. Use glass marbles, Styrofoam balls, chop sticks and silicone to create lovely focal points for your garden.

Recently I purchased a few bags of marble glass vase fillers at the dollar store. I don’t really have a bunch of vases to put them in, so after making this Mable Glass Vase, I just knew I could come up with another use for the stones, and I got inspired by those penny covered balls that you can find on Pinterest. They are quite pretty, and I thought to myself that I could make a nice version of them for my garden.

Makeover Front Door

I’ve been wanting to change up our front door

for a while now but with everything else on my “want to do” list, needless to say, it was towards the bottom. I finally had enough brain space to think about an easy and inexpensive solution, and I’m really loving how it came out.

BEFORE: Our front door needed some major TLC! We’ve been in our house for 4 and a half years and never did anything to our front stoop area, mainly because we use our side door since our driveway is located on the side of our house. However, we’re hoping to redo our driveway this spring/summer so that guests will use the front door which means it needed a facelift.

Makeover 80’s Oak Bookcase to Rustic Industrial

It isn’t often that I come across a

good trash-to-treasure furniture piece, but this one is a real keeper. The Hubs actually nabbed it from the trash bin during their last office remodel. It’s an old-fashioned 1980’s oak bookcase that hung on the wall.
