Plain Jane to Glam – Bedroom Makeover!

Like most older split-level homes,

our master bedroom is very small. It makes me crack up to even call it a master bedroom, given its size. Although our bedroom before our recent overhaul wasn’t terrible looking, it was definitely “Plain Jane.” It’s like we tried updating the room but never quite made it to the finish line.

Make Balloon-Wrapped Citronella Candle Votives

When I think of summer,

I think of entertaining on my deck or patio. I just love eating outside in the warm breeze, don’t you? One thing I dislike about it though, are all of those pesky mosquitoes buzzing around ruining my lovely evening! It was time to do something about it! These citronella candles do the trick and keep the pests away, while looking pretty too! These were a blast to create, so be sure to have fun with the process.

Makeover China Cabinet

I enjoy seeing before and after pictures.

It’s amazing how items can be transformed with paint! We moved into an older home several months ago. The one thing I couldn’t wait to get my hands on was the built-in China Cabinet and desk.
