I was happy with that but it needed a little something else.
I decided on some grungy, aged looking stripes. I taped off the drawers so that I could paint stripes. I painted stripes in the same pink I had used as my second layer.
Once the stripes were dry, I removed the tape and with a damp rag I wiped off much of the pink leaving faded, grungy stripes.
