Makeover A Boring Dresser Gets an Epic Suitcase

Don’t you just love those pictures of vintage

suitcases stacked one on top of the other. There’s just something about the look that makes me think of a life well-traveled and filled with adventure and I really my own stack of suitcases sooo badly. But they’re so hard to find and terribly expensive. We needed to make another plan. And the plan involved these broken suitcases and a boring pine chest of drawers.

Create Raised Texture on Furniture

Give your furniture a fun refresh with

raised stenciling on the drawers! This is an easy way to help cover up a lot of small dings, as well as add detail to a plain piece.

This is what we started out with. The drawers had a rough texture of them, and had chipped veneer. I just loved the details on the side though!
