A little color goes a long way!
I only added a few items and trimmed out the windows. I still want to do a ceiling treatment, wall treatments, new paint colors, maybe some wallpaper, new lighting, and hang curtains.
One of my favorite styles, especially for the summer, is the coastal style. You know, ‘beachy.’ I like to start with a pretty neutral base in the room, like white linens, wood tones, and other neutrals like gray and turquoise. Turquoise? As a neutral? I totally use shades of turquoise in my house as neutrals. It’s throughout my entire house, always as a neutral and not as an accent color. It goes with nearly any other accent color, like coral or pink or green or navy blue. It works with so many colors that it qualifies as a neutral.
