A nice way to start that can save you a lot of nerves
in the long run is to lay out your design prior to attaching the tiles to the tub. You can easily do that by measuring your tub and taping out the same area using masking tape on a large table or on the ground, then arranging the tiles. This was you can easily rearrange them as many time as you like until you are satisfied with the design
