and I am obsessed with staining images on table tops!

This is my headboard…

As you can see, it had seen better days!!

First thing my husband sanded and painted the headboard with interior Glidden paint from Home Depot, using “Coastal Charcoal”.

Well, that escalated quickly.

The smallest actions often have the most profound effects.

The fact that I sit here now, typing these words for your ocular consumption on this ever-growing blog, is proof of that statement.

When we bought this house, Handan and I didn’t set out to create a blog. We weren’t even thinking of becoming DiYers.

I used Modular Closets (again;)

to make a bedroom closet for my kid’s room

I was fed up with my kid’s wire shelving & wanted a place for him to have that’s quiet &- his own!
