My daughter wanted a headboard

made from tin ceiling tiles.

I bought a sheet of plywood and gathered pieces of trim. I cut the plywood to size for a queen size headboard.

I know some of you say your not a crafty person.

Well let’s make a craft today that only takes a minute to create. Plus, even if your not a crafty person, you most likely have the supplies. Getting ready for the holidays, means holiday guests to most. So a room you may not have decorated is….the guest bathroom. Well, along with the pretty guest towels all set out and ready…

We bought this home, but hated this fireplace in the master bedroom.

I hated the big blank space over my stairway.

I have the most perfect spot to relax and sip my coffee each morning upstairs on my landing.

Out the window my view is a gorgeous windmill, a stone root cellar, and old barns. I can see down the stairs into our beautiful foyer. But that empty wall over the stairs… It was a big wall staring blankly at me each morning! I needed some wall candy!

I needed something to hold my Keurig cups

and I found the perfect solution.

This project is versatile in that this cute little pot can be used for an array of things–plus, you can really add your personality to it by what scarf/fabric you choose.

SUPPLIES: – scarf -8″ plastic (resin) terra cotta pot -fabric scissors – Mod Podge -foam brush NOT PICTURED: -iron
