I am not usually an “end table rescuer”,

but this pair was just waiting for me to walk into the thrift store and see them.

We tried to remove wallpaper for years!

We couldn’t just paint over it and redoing the drywall was out of the question.

I love antiques, but not the price.

This is a technique I used to update a cheap plastic toy gum ball machines I found at the Dollar Store,

and make them look aged to perfection.

It’s easy, and can be done in about an hour, including paint drying time.

We are officially LIVING in our new house

and we could not be happier!

The projects have only just begun, and I’m so excited to be sharing my first one in our new house.

I got this couch from a neighbor around 4 years ago,

it had a little hole at the bottom, but it was definitely better than nothing at the time,
