How to DIY Springtime Wreath

This is what it looked like after I finished wrapping.

I really liked the bright Spring colors of the flower trim I bought. I used 1 yd. Then, I simply cut apart the trim into individual flowers, using scissors. It didn’t unravel at all.

The fun part was attaching the flowers to the wreath with long pins. The pins I used were 1 1/2″ long and all had pink heads for a uniform look to all of the flowers.

My daughter made a sign out of card stock. We attached it to a small wooden skewer and poked the skewer right into the wreath.

To finish the wreath, I added a long ribbon and one of my daughter’s pink bow barrettes. I actually started out basing my design on a wreath I’d seen on Pinterest, but I couldn’t find the same yarn. So, I made my own wreath instead and think it turned out great!
