How to Make DIY Scarf Tray

To create this, I painted my frame in DIY chalk paint (recipe found on my blog at the link at the bottom).
Then I cleaned the glass and reinserted it, then added the scarf which I cut to fit, followed by the original backing. Then I made it all pretty with some polka dot craft paper.

These handles were extras left over from another makeover, so they got a coat of paint as well:

Then I drilled holes in the top of the frame and attached the handles with E6000 glue.

These were pieces I inherited from my Dad’s woodworking supplies when he decided to give up building furniture, and they made perfect feet for my tray…

It turned out so sweet.
