Hand stitch the top section of another pair into a dome shape to form the octopuses head. Leave wasteband open.
Now with the circle you cut earlier, begin stitching the elastic waistband to the circle and incorporate the open ends of the eight legs as you go. This part can be tricky, but you can do it! You’re almost done.
Embroider a smile, glue on two google eyes and a pom-pom on top.
