Step 1: Measure your window width (and depth)
so you know the length of your DIY window valance.. My window valance needed to be 52″ wide and 2.5″ deep.
Step 2: Measure and cut your foam board, you can use a scissors but the easiest way to cut the foam board is with an exacto knife.
